Nancy's Calico Patch, Newport News, Va.

This is my second favorite Quilt store,( Yes she knows)..I told her

This is a must see store the next time you are at the Quilt Show in Hampton, Va.She has always had a booth there, but you really need to see her store. It is GREAT.....so is she and all her personel, You will be glad you went.

My sister took me to this shop several years ago and I fell in love, yep, love at first sight. She and her staff has it all, classes, and lots and lots of beautiful fabrics as well as a great assortment of books and supplies. When you get there, ask to speak to Nancy, tell her Libby's sister sent you, she will know who you are talking about.***LOL*** I'm also sure if you have any questions she will be glad to answer them, if she is busy any of the staff will know the answers too. Pretty smart ladies, all of them....

This is the second shop my sister, neice and I went to on Saturday, Aug.8th.the other one I posted about 3 post back, and I will post about the 3rd one tomorrow. So keep checking, there's definitely more to come. I also went to 7 shops while in Pa., a couple weeks ago, but my computer hasn't been acting very nicely, so haven't been on here as much as I would have liked, but if you are enjoying my rambling on about shops, just " stay with me".

Tomorrow I will also post our schedule for this week, we are in Cleveland, Ohio now. So if you are from around here I would love to meet you.Until we meet again, keep quilting memories,

I'm so jealous whenever I see your pictures of another quilt shop! I guess I shouldn't be too jealous, however, because we do have some great ones here. Next time you come to the Dallas area, we will definitely need to go to a couple together! I guess it wouldn't be until next year, but keep it in mind! That would be fun. I especially want to take you to Common Threads in Waxahachie, TX. It is such a neat town and a great shop! Ruth
