Well....It's been a while, but I have been busy.DH and I have been cleaning closets and now working on Computer/ Sewing Room. Whew.... But about finished. We are rearranging some things, and trying to get all my rulers hung on the walls, closer to the cutting table. Before everytime I cut something I had to go across the room for the ruler.....THEN....DUH.... The light bulb came on.... Dummy, move them to the side you need them! He also added me a couple more storage drawers. I told him I needed some more space since I will be going to the APQS Quilt Show in Hampton, Va. next month. So, voila, I have moved stuff and added the drawers, so now I can Shop, Shop, Shop. Actually I don't know of a thing I need, but I am sure I will find something!

It is so cold here, but thank goodness no snow yet. I hope it passes us by. Cold wet weather makes these old bones hurt....But it is supposed to be in the 40"s tomorrow and that will be good.

I now have my very own computer, can't do much with it, but couldn't do much with our desk top one either, but am trying....wish me luck.
Going to get off here and try to relax a little before bed. Have a goodnight everyone. Later,

Snow, Sister , Granddaughter and THREAD

Sorry, Can't get my pictures to work, and am home alone!!!! Just wanted to check in and make sure everyone is ok....Did you get much snow? I think we got about an inch, but we also got about that much ice. The main roads are all about clear now and so are most of the secondary ones. I know everyone is wanting to get back to their regular schedules, even our GD said she wanted to get back to school, there's "nothing" to do.......Pitiful. pitiful....LOL.....
My sister and BIL are stuck in San Antonio , Texas....can't get a plane out.....they were supposed to leave yesterday morning, and now are hopeing for this afternoon. I just want them to be safe, they will get home soon I am sure.
I am still sewing on GD's tote bag, I always seem to think I do not need a pattern, so make up one on my own....sometimes that works really well....sometimes not so good....this one is not so good, but I will get it made....just takes me a while longer than usual. She is anxious to get it in her hands though.
Since I have the rest of the day to myself, I think I will try to get out for a bit, I really do need to go to the LQS, I have NO black thread....I cannot believe I have let that happen,,,LOL
Will get back to sewing as soon as I get some thread. BOBBIN

I now have 4 finished baby quilts......This one is the one for our great granddaughter, she is now 18 months old, but I hope she will enjoy it for a few years anyway. It matches her room, her room is done in Safarie animals and birds. I had already made the cribskirt (before she was born) but a lot of problems kept me away from the sewing machine. But am happy to say it belongs to her now!!!!! Her Mom was extremely happy and wrote me the sweetest Thank You.... This shows the back of the quilt, the stripes is what the cribskirt is made of!!!

This playmat ,I made for Big Brothers Christmas, of course he had to have trucks and cars to play with, we supplied that also. I think he will enjoy this, but as with all little ones (he's 2 1/2 years),
he was so overwhelmed with all the hustle and bustle of Christmas , I'm not sure he even knew what he had. But I am sure by now, things have calmed down and he has had time to play with it. Mom and Dad appreciated it!

The above picture is the recepiants of the quilt and playmat along with me, GG....Greatgrandmother......I'm predujiced I know but I think they both are adoreable. They sure did make my Christmas happier.... More quilts to come, another day....Have a great evening and keep warm....It sure is cold here....
