I forgot to tell everyone that the picture of the man with the racecar is my hubby, we also have that car with us, that is what we show along with the trailer. They both are advertisements for Scott's products. J

Baton Rouge, La.

Well, here we are in beautiful Baton Rouge, La. It has been sunny and warm today. We were supposed to to have bad storms so the event we were supposed to do was cancelled, will do one tomorrow, this one will be inside if the weather is bad. WE will be in Denham Springs at the Home Depot at 2255 Home Depot road. If you are in the neighborhood drop by and say Hi,I would love to meet you***VBS*** Next we head to Texas, will be in the Houston area for 2 weeks. Will be at Wal mart on Wed, Feb.20th,15995 fm529 Road 3-8 pm. Thurs, HD( home depot) 999 West North Loop.3-8pm . Will post the rest later. Do come see me, the Trailer above is what we will be in, you can't miss us.

I went shopping today at Hobby Lobby, this is what I bought , the fabric will be used for pillow cases to carry on the road with us,I thought they would be appropriate, with the states and the border will be Nascar , Hubby picked the fabrics ***VBS*** The jewelry hanger and the clock will be in my sewing room when I get back home. I think we are going to go home for Easter, we won't get to stay but 4 days, but at least I can see my kids and grandkids. Then we will not go back until the 4th of July.
Got to get up from here and take a shower, we have to be on the job in the am at 7, so will be up at 5:30 and that will be here before I turn around.
I do want to say, I finally found most of the blog sites I have been reading along with some new ones, so now I am a happy camper.
Take care, quilt memories for everyone you love, they will love you even more.
Later, J

Darn it.
I left home this morning wearing a sweatshirt and jacket.By the time we got here at 3:10 we were both sweating. So traveling was nice. Obviously nothing quilty, so am going to get off here and get a shower and relax for a while.

Stubborn Blogger

Will Not let me put pictures on here today, that is so aggravating ......GGGRRRRR.................
Hope all is having a good day, it is a beautiful sunny day in our neck of the woods! But kinda chilly.
The lump the Dr. found in my breast has been diagnosed as a "boil" like cyst and we are just going to "watch" it. It has gone down some, not as large as it was a couple weeks ago, and that is good.Dr. said not to worry and go on on our trip and enjoy ourselves, so am going to take his advice and do just that. I do want to thank everyone for their prayers, that surely does help.
Will try to post in the next day or so, I want to show what we will be in while we are traveling, that way if any of you should see us while you are out and about maybe you will feel comfortable stopping to say hello, and I do want to show "off" my little sewing room I will have in the trailer.
And, Yes to those who have asked, I am definitely going to take pics and post them. I am sure it won't be as nice nor as comfortable as being in my sewing room here, but anything is better than not being able to sew at all. I went to the LQS yesterday and purchased the fabric to make a baby quilt for the Great Grandson that will be here in July. I hope to get that done one of the first projects. I have planned so much quilting, that I know there is no way I can get it all done, but I do want to have options! You should see what all I have packed, I have 2 large bins full of stuff. Good thing I will have a lot of storage space!
Got to get off here, DD is coming over and we are going to lunch, and I have some things I want to do before she gets here.Take care, my friends and before too much longer I will be back quilting memories for my family. J

Made a mistake

OOPS,

That blog addy is Sew Original Gals.blogspot.com

Try it, I think you will like........*****VBG*****

I made a QUILT

Well now, I have made another quilt top, YEAH, for me!!!!!!!!Actually its a throw size, but I really do like it. This is the FIRST quilt I have made using a pattern without help.***VBS***
It will hang at the LQS for a while, after it is quilted. The LQS owner is going to get a local lady to quilt it for me while I am traveling......I will be anxious to get back home to see it all finished.
We had Super Souper Bowl Sunday at the LQS today, and I took it in when I went in to help them ( I keep the food on the table replenshed)ETC, and the top was immediately hung , they had cut some kits so that was good advertising. I think they sold some kits also, so that was good.I had a really good time, I love seeing all the customers and especially the ladies that work there. They are a really great bunch of people. It is a priviledge to be around them. They are all so knowledgeable, I am going to miss seeing them, but hopefully will keep in touch, either by phone or email. They also have a blog, you should visit it sometime, it's seworiginalgals.blogspot.com I think you will like what you find there.
We will be leaving here soon, headed to Baton Rouge, La. then on to Texas. In La, we will be at a Wal-mart , then at a Lowe's and a Home Depot. Come by and see us. We will have Carl Edwards show car on display.I wish I could tell you the addresses, but so far we haven't been told the exact addy, just go to Baton Rouge and we will get the info we need via email. I just LOVE heading somewhere that you aren't familiar with and do not have the address. As soon as I know the addy I will post it so you can come by, be sure to introduce yourself, I look forward to meeting a lot of new people and especially quilters, That will be awesome***VBS***. As we travel I am going to try to blog about where we are going next, as we will be all over the mid-west, so lots of people and new quilt shops to visit. Does anyone know where I can find shops in BR?
Would love to hear from you.........
Think I will get off here, am tired, going to rest in my recliner. Looking forward to hearing from some of you ladies, until we meet, how about quilting memories for someone you love..
